Meet the Trainer

My name is Jason Haeger, and I am the founder/owner of EspressoTrainer.com.

I got into this business for one reason:  passion.

I love coffee.  I love quality.  Put the two together, and the result is an unhealthy obsession for quality coffee and education.  Like many others, I found it frustrating not being able to find a truly great cup of coffee available within a reasonable distance of just about anywhere.  Often, this was not due to a lack of care, but a lack of information and training.  Leaning towards educating anyway, I set out to make a difference.

I started writing curriculums based on experiences from a broad array of retailers I had worked for in the past as well as countless hours of hands-on and academic research all for the sake of a better cup of coffee.  Unfortunately (or fortunately), I learned more about what NOT to do rather than what to do from most retailers.  This does mean that I am better able to save others from making the same or similar mistakes in addition to offering the consulting and world class barista training that we’ve  become known for.
